Product Description

Silicone coated fiberglass fabric is a non flammable composite made from a woven glass fiber substrate and a silicone rubber coating. It delivers fireproof performance together with waterproof and oil resistant protection.

Substrate: the E-Glass glass cloth is woven from drawn molten glass wire for high strength, corrosion resistance, non flammability and stable dimensions that do not shrink or distort under heat.

Coating: a polysiloxane silicone layer is bonded to the glass cloth, so the surface is dust free and skin friendly, unlike bare fiberglass which causes itching and short service life.

Process: high strength E-Glass fiberglass yarn is twill woven into a base cloth, then coated with silicone on both sides to form a dense weather resistant layer. The surface is level and flexible, easy to fold and cut, and does not delaminate or chalk after long term use. It will not spread flame on direct fire contact and effectively blocks high temperature radiation and heat conduction.

The sheet is fireproof, waterproof and oil resistant, strong and flexible, with low smoke output and stable performance under heat.

Fireproof And Self Extinguishing: the glass base does not burn and the silicone coating is flame retardant, resisting flame spread and sparks.

High Temperature Resistance: works continuously from -70C to 280C and resists short term heat surges.

Waterproof And Oil Resistant: the sealed surface sheds water, oil, grease and dust and cleans easily.

Strong And Tough: high tensile strength with warp 7000 N/5cm and weft 6000 N/5cm resists tearing and abrasion.

Flexible And Lightweight: the 0.5mm sheet stays soft and can be cut, sewn and fitted with eyelets.

Chemical Resistance: withstands common acids, alkalis and solvents.

Low Smoke And Non Toxic: very low loss on ignition and low smoke output.

Customizable: weight, thickness, width, color and edge finishing can be produced to order.
