Fiberglass cloth. Glass fiber is an inorganic non-metallic material made from glass as raw material, melted at high temperature and drawn. Its single filament diameter ranges from a few micrometers to over twenty micrometers, usually consisting of hundreds or even thousands of single filaments bundled into the original yarn, which is then made into a fabric shape through textile technology. Fiberglass cloth itself has characteristics such as non flammability, high temperature resistance, dimensional stability, and corrosion resistance. However, its surface is smooth, and its bonding strength with materials such as resin is limited. The original color is usually white or light yellow, and the color is relatively single.
Dyeing is not performed on the glass fiber itself, but rather by combining specific colorants or dyes with an acrylic resin coating system. During the processing, colored acrylic resin is uniformly adhered to the surface and gaps of the warp and weft yarns of the glass fiber cloth through immersion, scraping or spraying, and then cured at a certain temperature to crosslink the resin into a film, and the color is fixed accordingly.
