In industrial production, rolling materials is a common process that uses roller pressing to make polymer materials into thin films or sheets. As an important support during the rolling process, the base fabric has a direct impact on the performance and quality of the final product. There are various types of base fabrics, and different materials and structures are suitable for different rolling needs.


Fiberglass base fabric is known for its high strength and high temperature resistance. Glass fiber is an inorganic material with excellent tensile strength and dimensional stability, and is not easily shrunk or deformed even in high temperature environments. This makes glass fiber base fabric particularly suitable for high-temperature rolling processes, such as the manufacturing of certain engineering plastics or composite materials. Glass fiber has good corrosion resistance and can resist the erosion of various chemical substances. Fiberglass base fabric is commonly used in the production of high-temperature tapes, electronic insulation materials, and other products.

 

 

Features

 

Absorbing vibrations, compensating for displacements: The embossed glass fiber cloth has excellent elasticity and high flexibility, making it the core material for manufacturing non-metallic compensators (soft connections) and skins. It can effectively solve the deformation and damage caused by thermal expansion and contraction in the pipeline system, absorb mechanical vibrations, and extend the overall service life of the equipment.
 
High insulation strength, resistant to high voltage: It has a high electrical insulation grade, with a stable dielectric constant (3-3.2), and the breakdown voltage can reach 20-50KV/MM. It is an ideal material for making insulation cloth, bushings, and protective parts for motor electrical control, ensuring the safety of electrical operations.
 
Heat preservation and insulation, energy saving and consumption reduction: The thermal conductivity is low and the insulation performance is excellent. It is used to make detachable insulation covers (commonly known as "iron jackets"), which can precisely fit various irregularly shaped equipment such as valves and heat exchangers, reducing heat loss and improving working conditions; at the same time, it can also be used as a fire curtain or electric welding protection blanket to protect the safety of operators.
 
Resistant to harsh media, with tight sealing: It has excellent tolerance to lubricating oil, fuel, and acidic/alkaline chemical agents (particularly outstanding in the fluorocarbon coating). Suitable for anti-corrosion coatings inside and outside storage tanks, as well as acid and alkali resistant flexible connections, completely preventing leakage.
