Acid Resistant Wear Resistant Non Adhesive High Strength Ptfe Coated Fiberglass Fabric Cloth
Resin glass fiber is mainly composed of two parts: resin and glass fiber. Resin, as an adhesive, has good plasticity and chemical stability, and can firmly bond glass fibers together. And glass fiber provides strong tensile strength, making the entire composite material have high mechanical properties.
Due to the high strength characteristics of glass fiber, resin glass fiber composite materials also have high tensile and compressive strength. Resin has good chemical stability, so resin glass fiber also has high corrosion resistance and can be used for a long time in harsh environments without being easily damaged. Compared to traditional metal materials, resin glass fiber is lighter and easier to handle and install.
Due to its high strength, corrosion resistance, and lightweight, resin glass fiber is widely used in fields such as ships, automobiles, and aerospace. Especially in situations where weight reduction, strength improvement, and corrosion resistance are required, resin glass fiber is the preferred material.
High strength and high modulus: Glass fiber provides excellent tensile, bending, and impact strength, is lightweight but has strong load-bearing capacity, and has a much higher specific strength than ordinary metals.
Excellent dimensional stability: small coefficient of thermal expansion, not easily deformed under heat, low shrinkage rate (usually less than 2%), able to maintain structural accuracy.
Good electrical insulation: Both resin and fiberglass are excellent insulators with stable dielectric properties, widely used in PCB substrates and electrical insulation components.
Chemical corrosion resistance and weather resistance: It has strong resistance to acid, alkali, salt, and humid environments, does not absorb moisture, does not rust, and some formulations have UV aging resistance.
Flame retardant and heat-resistant: Most systems (such as epoxy and phenolic) have self extinguishing properties (UL94 V-0 level), and the heat-resistant level can reach F level (155 ℃) or even higher, depending on the resin type.
