High Temperature Heat Resistant Non-Sticky PTFE Coated Fiberglass Fabric Cloth
Resin glass fiber cloth, commonly known as fiberglass substrate or glass fiber reinforced composite material, is a high-performance material composed of glass fiber fabric and synthetic resin through specific processes. This material combines the high strength and high temperature resistance of glass fiber with the insulation, corrosion resistance, and molding ability of resin, and is widely used in fields such as electronics, aerospace, wind energy, and building decoration.
High specific strength, superior to many metal materials, and lightweight, which is beneficial for reducing structural loads. High resistivity and low dielectric loss make it an ideal material for manufacturing electrical products such as printed circuit boards (PCBs), insulation separators, and motor slot wedges. Glass fiber itself can withstand high temperatures (up to 500 ℃ or above), but the overall temperature resistance limit of composite materials depends on the resin system. Some special resin fiberglass fabrics have flame retardant properties and are suitable for scenarios with high fire resistance requirements.
High strength and high modulus: Glass fiber provides excellent tensile, bending, and impact strength, is lightweight but has strong load-bearing capacity, and has a much higher specific strength than ordinary metals.
Excellent dimensional stability: small coefficient of thermal expansion, not easily deformed under heat, low shrinkage rate (usually less than 2%), able to maintain structural accuracy.
Good electrical insulation: Both resin and fiberglass are excellent insulators with stable dielectric properties, widely used in PCB substrates and electrical insulation components.
Chemical corrosion resistance and weather resistance: It has strong resistance to acid, alkali, salt, and humid environments, does not absorb moisture, does not rust, and some formulations have UV aging resistance.
Flame retardant and heat-resistant: Most systems (such as epoxy and phenolic) have self extinguishing properties (UL94 V-0 level), and the heat-resistant level can reach F level (155 ℃) or even higher, depending on the resin type.
