Product Description

 

Silicone coated glass fiber cloth is a high-performance composite material made of glass fiber cloth as the substrate and coated with a silicone layer on the surface. This material combines the high strength of glass fiber with the excellent weather resistance, temperature resistance, and chemical stability of silicone. Silicone coated fiberglass cloth has the following characteristics: 1 High temperature resistance: can withstand a temperature range of -60 ℃ to 300 ℃, suitable for high temperature environments; 2. Fireproof and flame retardant: Silicone itself has self extinguishing properties and meets fire prevention standards; 3. Chemical corrosion resistance: has good resistance to chemicals such as acid, alkali, salt, etc; 4. Good flexibility: easy to process and install; 5. Waterproof and moisture-proof: The silicone layer effectively prevents moisture from penetrating.

 

 

 

Features

 

Wide temperature range stability: It can be used stably for a long time in an environment of -70 ℃ to 280 ℃. Some high-temperature curing models have higher short-term temperature tolerance and excellent insulation performance.


High mechanical strength and flexibility: retaining the high tensile strength of glass fiber (with a fracture strength of over 1500N/50mm), while possessing the flexibility and toughness of rubber, it can be cut and bent freely without breaking.


Excellent insulation performance: It has a high electrical insulation level, with a breakdown voltage of 20-50kV/mm and a stable dielectric constant (3-3.2), suitable for high-voltage electrical environments.


Aging and weather resistance: resistant to ozone, ultraviolet radiation, and weather aging, with a field service life of over 10 years; Surface oil resistant, waterproof, and washable.


Chemical corrosion resistance: It has good resistance to various acids, bases, and chemical media, suitable as a pipeline anti-corrosion layer, but not suitable for applications containing SO ₂ flue gas.


Fireproof and flame retardant: The substrate itself is non flammable, and the coating has flame retardant properties. It is commonly used in the production of safety facilities such as fireproof curtains and fire isolation curtains. ‌‌
