Product Description

Silicone coated glass fiber cloth is made of high-strength, high temperature resistant, and fire-resistant glass fiber cloth as the substrate, using large brand silicone rubber, which is coated, rolled, impregnated, and high-temperature vulcanized. The product comes in two forms: single-sided and double-sided coating, with a long-term temperature resistance of about 250 ℃ and a short-term temperature resistance of up to 280 ℃.

It retains the high strength, high temperature resistance, fire insulation and other characteristics of fiberglass cloth, as well as the advantages of weather resistance, corrosion resistance, water and oil resistance, softness and easy processing of silicone rubber, with better performance than ordinary coated fabrics.

Silicone cloth can be used for detachable insulation sleeves, fire curtains, smoke barriers, fan soft connections, non-metallic expansion joints, welding blankets, electrical insulation fabrics, etc., covering multiple fields such as petroleum, chemical, cement, energy, aerospace, metallurgy, etc. Attention: Smoke environments containing sulfur dioxide are not suitable.

Features

Wide temperature range stability: It can be used stably for a long time in an environment of -70 ℃ to 280 ℃. Some high-temperature curing models have higher short-term temperature tolerance and excellent insulation performance.

Excellent insulation performance: It has a high electrical insulation level, with a breakdown voltage of 20-50kV/mm and a stable dielectric constant (3-3.2), suitable for high-voltage electrical environments.

Aging and weather resistance: resistant to ozone, ultraviolet radiation, and weather aging, with a field service life of over 10 years; Surface oil resistant, waterproof, and washable.

Chemical corrosion resistance: It has good resistance to various acids, bases, and chemical media, suitable as a pipeline anti-corrosion layer, but not suitable for applications containing SO ₂ flue gas.

Fireproof and flame retardant: The substrate itself is non flammable, and the coating has flame retardant properties. It is commonly used in the production of safety facilities such as fireproof curtains and fire isolation curtains. ‌‌
