Durable Welding Protection Silicone Fiberglass Cloth High Temperature Resistance Silicone Coated Fiberglass
Silicone coated glass fiber cloth is a composite functional material made of glass fiber cloth as the substrate and coated with silicone rubber on the surface. It perfectly combines the high strength of fiberglass with the high temperature and weather resistance of silicone, making it stable and reliable even in extreme environments.
Substrate (glass fiber cloth): Woven from molten glass wire drawing, with characteristics such as high strength, corrosion resistance, non flammability, and dimensional stability. Weaving methods include plain weave, twill weave, or satin weave.
Coating (silicone rubber): The main component is polysiloxane, which has excellent temperature resistance and flexibility, and is attached to glass fiber cloth through immersion, scraping or rolling processes.
(Ordinary fiberglass cloth without silicone coating is prone to itching and not durable, while silicone coating perfectly solves these problems.)
Wide temperature range stability: It can be used stably for a long time in an environment of -70 ℃ to 280 ℃. Some high-temperature curing models have higher short-term temperature tolerance and excellent insulation performance.
High mechanical strength and flexibility: retaining the high tensile strength of glass fiber (with a fracture strength of over 1500N/50mm), while possessing the flexibility and toughness of rubber, it can be cut and bent freely without breaking.
Excellent insulation performance: It has a high electrical insulation level, with a breakdown voltage of 20-50kV/mm and a stable dielectric constant (3-3.2), suitable for high-voltage electrical environments.
Aging and weather resistance: resistant to ozone, ultraviolet radiation, and weather aging, with a field service life of over 10 years; Surface oil resistant, waterproof, and washable.
Chemical corrosion resistance: It has good resistance to various acids, bases, and chemical media, suitable as a pipeline anti-corrosion layer, but not suitable for applications containing SO ₂ flue gas.
Fireproof and flame retardant: The substrate itself is non flammable, and the coating has flame retardant properties. It is commonly used in the production of safety facilities such as fireproof curtains and fire isolation curtains.
